Bin the bunny campaign

Anyone notice the new Playboy store on Oxford Street? It’s the first store of its kinds in Europe, and it is aimed at women, not men! They sell sexy lingery and fashion items, but it is no sex shop… a little bit like Anne Summers I guess. No really my think… I am not really into feathered pink thongs and tigerprint skirts if you catch my drift.

Still, I really liked the Anti-Porn UK campaign: Bin the Bunny! They want to boycot the store, and you may think of their views what you like, their logo is pretty cool They also do great T-shirts with “Bugs Bunny won’t get my money” and “Eff off Heff” (referring to Playboy boss Hugh Heffner). Not sure if the Anti-Porn campaigners stand a chance against the Playboy empire, but at least they sell the more stylish gear!

Feeling the pinch?

Man, life in London is expensive at the best of times, but has it just got worse?! There must be some truth in the credit crunch stories I guess, as just about everything seems to be getting more expensive. Luckily London is full of bounty for a dedicated bargain-hunter like me… long live Primark! Loving the markets as well, definitely Pettycoat Lane and Spitalfields. Guess the stall on the picture is just the ticket
